It’s been a while since we last shared what’s happening at AdTech Holding beyond our tech projects. However, we do have a lot to tell you! The first half of 2025 has been full of meaningful initiatives, community efforts, and company milestones – and we’re excited to give you a quick look back.

Here’s what kept us inspired in the past months.

Making Cyprus Greener

Our tree-planting initiative with the Limassol municipality is already showing results – the young trees have grown beautifully along Ayia Fylaxios road. As Demy, a Limassol citizen, shared:

“Just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful gardens planted… makes my morning commute so much more enjoyable to see green and less concrete.”

And we’ll continue adding more nature to our city!

Supporting Our Four-Legged Friends

In February, we visited Sirius Dog Sanctuary once again, while offering both regular financial support to cover rent and hands-on help with dog food and other supplies. Right now, the shelter is going through a critical time, urgently searching for a new space to house its dogs. Our team is committed to spreading awareness and providing a helping hand wherever possible. If you would also like to help Sirius Dog Sanctuary, please check their post and feel free to support them.

We also visited William’s Dog Shelter, spending time with the pups and covering food needs. For many of these dogs, a walk or a moment of play makes all the difference – and we’re proud to help bring them a little joy.

“When you spend time at a shelter, you realize how much difference a few hours or a few bags of food can make. It’s a reminder to all local companies and future volunteers that care doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful – even an hour a week can make a real impact.” – Maria Yashina, Head of Marketing Agency and the organizer of our CSR and community initiatives.

Keeping Cyprus Clean

In May, we joined forces with City Friends Club again for a beach cleanup at Lady’s Mile. As a result, we have gathered over 200 bags of waste and gained a strong sense of teamwork.

Maria Yashina participated in a range of clean-ups and shared her inspiration:

“Every cleanup feels like a small victory. You walk away with tired hands but a clear mind.”

We’re also happy to continue our long-term sponsorship of City Friends Club, supporting their mission to keep Cyprus green and clean. And mark your calendars – the next cleanup is already scheduled for December 13, so join us!

Standing Together in Times of Need

When wildfires struck Cyprus this summer, our office became a humanitarian collection point for essential items. Together with TechIsland and 50+ local tech companies, we also contributed to long-term initiatives focused on prevention, monitoring, and community support. For us, Cyprus isn’t just where we work – it’s home. We’ll continue to stand by the people and communities who make it so special.

Moreover, this year, we also stand behind a HackTech Hackathon, organized under the auspices of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy of Cyprus, with support of TechIsland. This year, the event focuses precisely on projects aimed at predicting wildfire risks, assisting with evacuation and communication, as well as restoring and rebuilding nature and infrastructure.

Learning to Help: First Aid Training

Alds, we regularly organize first aid training sessions for our employees, led by George Ioakim, Health and Safety consultant and approved first aid trainer. During these workshops, our teams learn how to react calmly and effectively in emergencies – from providing first medical aid to handling potentially dangerous situations like fire or earthquake with confidence. It’s a skill we hope no one ever needs, but one everyone should have.

“It was amazing to see how seriously everyone took the training – and how much teamwork it inspired. We learned how to stay calm, help each other, and act fast and right in case of emergency. What really impressed me was the level of involvement – even after the session, many colleagues came up asking when the next one would be. Those who took part also asked for more regular workshops!

Now we have around 30 people trained to provide first aid – not counting those who completed the course two and a half years ago. It’s great to know we can rely on each other in any situation.” Mikhail Kogol, Safety and Maintenance Expert.

Sports and Community

We teamed up with the Cyprus Tennis Federation, sponsoring the national padel team in Madrid and proudly standing as Tie Sponsor of the Davis Cup World Group II match in Nicosia. A lot of our colleagues are fond of padel, so they went to Nicosia together with their families to enjoy the game and support players! What is more, our padel fans regularly organize padel tournaments inside the company:

We believe in the power of sports to bring people together – and we’re excited to keep building on this partnership.

Empowering the Next Generation

This year, we became the Exclusive AdTech Partner of Youth Tech Fest Cyprus. AdTech Holding’s Chief Administrative Officer, Elena Dolya, also joins the Fest’s Board to help guide its impact. Elena shares her thoughts:

“Participating in Youth Tech Fest is an initiative I truly believe in. In many countries, education in schools and universities is largely disconnected from business. This creates a significant gap between students’ ability to quickly find employment and companies’ readiness to train employees from scratch. I am convinced that initiatives like Youth Tech Fest make it possible to focus on education at all levels from an early stage and to prepare children for the real conditions of business and future career challenges.”

The festival will take place in February 2026, inspiring hundreds of young minds to explore coding, robotics, and innovation – and we’re thrilled to be part of it.

AdStep 2025: Building Careers

Our AdStep Internship Program returned in a new format, offering young professionals the chance to gain real experience in Finance, Marketing, IT and Sales, guided by mentors and supported every step of the way. Together, they have completed numerous successful projects and three former interns have become members of our teams afterwards! One of them, Konstantin Tomaili, Junior Web Designer, shares his thoughts:

“AdStep was all about collaboration and growth. Working side by side with experienced professionals taught me more than any course could. The projects were demanding, but seeing the results as a team made it all worth it.”

With flexible start dates and clear career opportunities, AdStep is a pathway into the tech world – one where learning, growth, and confidence all go hand in hand.

Recognitions and Thought Leadership

We’re proud to have been named a Great Place to Work for the third year in a row, reflecting the culture of trust, growth, and well-being that we’ve built together.

Our leadership team has also been active across industry events. Ivan Bystrov, Chief Financial Officer at AdTech Holding, joined several TechIsland initiatives and finance meetups, contributing to conversations that bridge Cyprus’s banking and tech sectors – a key step for the island’s growing digital economy. He said:

“At AdTech Holding, we view collaboration between banking and tech as a cornerstone for Cyprus’s continued growth as a technology hub. Workshops like the one we hosted with Hellenic Bank are more than just discussions – they’re about building a shared understanding and setting the foundation for innovation. By aligning our industries, we can accelerate smarter, more resilient financial ecosystems that benefit the entire economy.”

Among Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50

Another proud moment for our team this year was being recognized by Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 program (for the second time!) a ranking that highlights the fastest-growing and most innovative tech companies in the region. This achievement reflects not only our consistent growth, but also the trust we’ve built with our partners, clients, and people. For us, it’s a powerful reminder that sustainable progress comes from teamwork, vision, and a shared drive to move the industry forward!

Looking Ahead

The first half of 2025 has been full of action – from CSR efforts and community support to recognition and talent-building. But this is just the beginning, and as our CEO, Alex Vasekin, said:

“Cyprus gives us a unique vantage point – it’s an island, which makes collaboration tight and personal, yet – ambitious enough to push global innovation. Our commitment to local projects, from education to environmental action, comes from that same spirit. We want more than just growing as a company here – we want to help Cyprus grow, too.”

So soon, we’ll be back with more updates covering more initiatives, including new eco-projects, sports partnerships, and new ideas to strengthen Cyprus’s tech ecosystem and well-being.

At AdTech Holding, we believe in more than building technologies. We believe in building communities, supporting people, and creating a better tomorrow – together!
