At AdTech Holding, we believe that fostering excellence, whether in technology or sports, drives communities forward. We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with the Cyprus Tennis Federation (CTF), as the exclusive sponsor of Cyprus’ national padel teams (men’s and women’s) at the inaugural FIP Euro Padel Cup in Madrid, July 7-13, 2025.
This collaboration marks a historic milestone: it’s the first time Cyprus is fielding padel teams in a European championship organized by the International Padel Federation!
On July 4th, at the Olympic House in Nicosia, the CTF unveiled the 14-member Cyprus padel delegation in a press conference. AdTech Holding’s Chief Administrative Officer, Elena Dolya, joined CTF President Dimitris Leontis to celebrate this landmark moment. As CTF noted in their announcement:
“Without this sponsorship from AdTech Holding, our participation in the Euro Padel Cup simply wouldn’t have been possible.”
The Cyprus teams – seven men and seven women – competed through two tournament phases, aiming to reach the elite Final 8. This journey began with rigorous national qualifiers, under the guidance of Coach Pablo Bustamante, and now carries the hopes of an entire nation.
Elena also shared her impression, saying that “standing in the Olympic House in Nicosia and seeing the energy and pride of the national padel teams was truly inspiring! For us, supporting Cyprus’ first-ever participation in a European padel championship is not just an honor – it’s a reflection of our commitment to the island community and its talents.”
“Our support is about responsibility and contribution, not just brand visibility,” says Alex Vasekin, CEO of AdTech Holding. “We’re proud to stand behind local athletes as they make history on the European stage, and to champion padel – a sport that’s rapidly capturing hearts worldwide.”
Fun thing, padel’s teamwork mirrors the collaborative spirit that echoes AdTech’s values – strategic teamwork and endless learning!
Cyprus made an impressive first appearance at the FIP Euro Padel Cup in Madrid, with both men’s and women’s teams delivering outstanding results.
“We feel proud of our teams representing Cyprus on the European stage. Their performances give us every reason to be optimistic about the future,” said Dimitris Leontis, President of the Cyprus Tennis Federation, who also called this victory “historic”.
The men’s team beat Ireland 3:0, moving close to top-16 qualification.
“One more victory would have pushed us into the top 16 in Europe – an incredible milestone for a first appearance,” said the spokesperson of the Cyprus Tennis Federation.
The women’s team claimed a clean 3:0 win against the team from Moldova, placing among top-20 teams in Europe.
“This debut marks a historic moment for Cyprus. With four victories and incredible team spirit, we’ve shown that Cyprus belongs on the European stage,”the Federation commented.
AdTech Holding is proud of making this possible!
AdTech Holding’s sports commitment goes beyond Cyprus. We also organized an internal official AdTech Padel tournament and shared moments of athletic excellence within our team.
Empowering growth: investing in athletes mirrors how we nurture talent (not only digital!) and eagerly contribute to the community’s well-being.
Championing health: we support active lifestyles among our employees and communities, because it fuels creativity.
“Partnering with the Cyprus Tennis Federation is a natural extension of our mission to empower growth – in business and beyond,” adds Alex Vasekin.
As the Euro Padel Cup finals unfolded in Madrid, AdTech Holding proudly cheered for the Cypriot teams every step of the way. We are confident that their determination and skill will inspire future generations of athletes back home.
